Dr. Sarmiento received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and is a graduate of the prestigious Mayo Clinic Family Medicine Residency Program. He is board certified in Family Medicine and has special interest and training in medical acupuncture from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

Dr. Atienza received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. She has advanced training in Bariatric (weight loss) Medicine and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Bariatric Medicine.

Karen received her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Iowa College of Medicine (the #1 ranked Physician Assistant program by U.S. News & World Report). She has special interests in wellness medicine and women's health.
